This #WorldMentalHealthDay, we are in Isiolo County promoting mental health awareness and ending stigma around seeking help.

The day brought together community members and frontline workers for an awareness march, interactive learning sessions, and powerful discussions highlighting how experiences of FGM can cause deep emotional and psychological trauma, and why promoting mental health is essential to supporting survivors and ending these harmful practices.

Together, we’re breaking stigma, building resilience, and celebrating mental wellness in every home and community.
