Mercy Wambugha Njumwa
Intern- Kwale County
Mercy Wambugha Njumwa is an intern with COVAW under the Tupo. Tusikizwe project in Kwale County.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Development from Egerton University and is deeply committed to advocating for the rights of children, women, and girls, particularly in the areas of sexual and reproductive health, gender equality, and women’s economic empowerment.
Before joining COVAW, she volunteered and worked with several organizations, including Family Health Options Kenya (FHOK) Nakuru, Ipas Africa Alliance, SULUHU THINK TANK, Elimu Care, and Tele Family Foundation Mombasa.
