Program Associate – Kwale County

Tatu works with COVAW as a Program Associate under the Tupo Tusikizwe project. Tatu Mjaka is a Development Studies Specialist and Human Rights Advocate. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Development Studies, and a diploma in Community Development and Project Management.

Tatu has 15+ experience in community development work, child protection, governance, sexual reproductive rights. She has immense experience in facilitating learning for both adults and children. Her passion lies in promoting the inclusion of women, youth, and vulnerable children, particularly those with disabilities.

Prior to joining COVAW, Tatu had worked with Kenya Alliance for Advancement of Children (KAACR), Plan International Kenya and Zana Africa.
