Christine Oyugi
Program Officer – Kwale County
Christine Oyugi works with COVAW as a Program Officer for Kwale County. She is a passionate and committed gender equality and social inclusion practitioner with 10 years of experience in the humanitarian and development programming sector, six of which have been dedicated to programs targeting the advancement of women’s and girls’ rights.
She specializes in supporting women’s rights organizations to design and implement programs rooted in feminist and women’s rights approaches. An ardent researcher, she employs feminist methodologies to build evidence that informs policy and practice, driving progress toward gender equality and women’s empowerment.
Christine holds a Masters of Arts in Women, Leadership and Governance in Africa from the University of Nairobi and Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Communication from Moi University.
