The COVAW strategic initiatives operate under 3 major objectives:
- Increasing capacity of community activists and community leaders as change agents in eradicating VAW.
- Contributing to policies and legislative change that addresses VAW at National, Regional and Community level.
- Contributing to knowledge on VAW through research and documentation
